BLURB:
This quilt came about because of the stash of muted William Morris fabrics that I had accumulated! The medallion style quilt has a central panel of roses spilling out of an urn from my front garden (Mind you the roses don’t grow in the urn!).

Finished Quilt Size:
The completed qult is 193cm x 193cm (76" x 76")

Materials:
All fabric requirements are based on 42" (115cm) wide fabric

Centre block background: 60cm

Applique for centre block: 20cm for urn, 20cm each of two contrasting light and dark fabrics for the roses, 20cm green for leaves

Border One: 30cm

Star Blocks: 1 metre of light fabric (can use various shades) 50cm dark fabric (for the stars)

Border two: 30cm

Light Rectangles (for forse trails either side of centre): 60cm

Filler Strips (2x top & bottom): 25cm

Final Appliqué: 1.2 metres of light background (minimum 25cm across if using an assortment of fabrics)
1.4 metres of dark trianges (minimum of 35cm across if using an assortment of fabrics)

Binding: 60cm (backing and batting to fit)

2-3 metres of fusible webbing
